A traditional gestor

Questions, answered

Do I still need a gestor if I use software? +
Not always. Tools like Quaderno or Cuéntica let many autónomos issue invoices and prepare their own modelos. If your situation is simple, software alone can be enough. If you have cross-border residency questions or just want it handled, a service like Xolo or renn, or a traditional gestor, adds a human layer.
What is Verifactu and does it affect me? +
Verifactu is Spain's new system for reporting invoice data to the AEAT as invoices are issued. Autónomos who invoice with software must comply by 1 July 2027. Every tool on this page is already working toward it, which is why we only list Verifactu-ready options.
Which is best if I invoice clients outside Spain? +
Quaderno, because it calculates the correct VAT or sales tax per country automatically and integrates with international payment processors. That cross-border handling is the main reason it is our top pick for freelancers with clients abroad.
